RunVue Terms of Use (Android)
Effective Date: October 3, 2026
RunVue ("the App", "we", "our") is developed and operated by the developer reachable at setlog.net
These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Android version of RunVue. Please read them before you use the App or buy a subscription. The iPhone version of RunVue is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), not by these Terms.
In short: making replay videos at 1x and Summary speed is free, with ads. RunVue Pro is an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription sold through Google Play; it renews and is charged automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time in Google Play. The numbers in your videos come from Health Connect and are general fitness information — not medical advice. The map credit in your videos (© OpenStreetMap contributors) must stay in place.
1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. If you have a subscription and no longer agree, cancel it in Google Play as described in Section 6.
Eligibility: the App is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, and you must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase (or your parent or guardian's consent where your local law requires it) to buy a subscription.
2. The Service
RunVue turns the runs recorded in Health Connect (or GPX/FIT files you import) into 3D replay videos made entirely on your device, from a following third-person view and a first-person highlight view.
- No accounts: the App has no user accounts. Your imported runs and videos are kept on your device. We do not operate a server for your data; the App only downloads map data from our static storage.
- Read-only health access: the App reads workouts, routes, heart rate, speed, distance, and (optionally) calories from Health Connect with your permission, and never writes to Health Connect.
- Requirements: the App requires Android 9 or later, Health Connect, and an internet connection to download map data for new areas. Video quality, rendering time, and available features may depend on your device.
- Map coverage: map data comes from open data and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate in some areas. Some areas may not be available.
- We may update, change, or stop offering features of the App from time to time. If a change materially reduces what a paid subscription includes, we will give notice as described in Section 15.
3. Free and Pro
- Free: making videos at 1x and Summary speed with the Nav camera, and the pace and heart-rate waveform, is free with no limit on how many you make. The free version shows ads (Section 7).
- RunVue Pro: a paid subscription that unlocks every playback speed from 2x to 60x, the Cinematic and Calm camera presets, and camera height and zoom, and removes ads. The exact contents are shown on the App's subscription screen and in the Google Play listing at the time of purchase.
- Watch an ad for one save: free users may choose to watch a video ad to use a Pro speed for a single save, a limited number of times per day. This is optional and does not create a subscription.
- When Pro ends: videos you already saved are not changed. Your runs and Library stay on your device; Pro-only options are locked until you subscribe again.
4. Subscriptions, Billing and Auto-Renewal (Google Play)
- Plans: RunVue Pro is offered as a monthly (1 month) and a yearly (1 year) subscription, sold only through Google Play Billing.
- Price: the price is the one shown on the subscription screen and in Google Play for your country at the time of purchase, including any taxes Google Play applies.
- Payment: payment is charged to the payment method on your Google Play account. We never see or store your payment details.
- Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and the renewal is charged to your Google Play account, until you cancel before the current period ends.
- Price changes: if the price of your subscription changes, Google Play notifies you in advance and, where required, asks for your consent. You can cancel before the new price applies.
- Payment problems: if a renewal payment fails, Google Play may give you a grace period or place your subscription on hold. Pro is not available while the subscription is on hold.
- Offline use: the App checks your subscription on your device; Pro keeps working offline for up to 7 days after the last successful check.
- Restore and codes: "Restore Purchases" re-reads your purchases from Google Play (for example, on a new device signed in to the same Google account). Promotional codes, if offered, are redeemed in Google Play.
- Platform: a subscription bought on Google Play is valid only in the Android app; it does not carry over to the iPhone app, and vice versa.
5. Free Trial
- RunVue Pro may include a one-month free trial for eligible users. Google Play decides eligibility — typically new subscribers, one trial per account.
- When the trial ends, the subscription you chose starts and is charged automatically, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- The subscription screen shows, before you start a trial, when it converts to a paid subscription, the amount, and how to cancel.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
- How to cancel: at any time in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, or from the App via Settings › RunVue Pro › Manage subscription on Google Play. Uninstalling the App does not cancel your subscription.
- After cancelling: Pro stays available until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds: refunds are handled by Google Play under Google Play's refund policy. Request a refund through Google Play; Google decides whether it is granted. See Google Play's refund help page.
- Users in Korea: withdrawal of purchase (청약철회) and refunds follow Google Play's policies and the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce of Korea. Withdrawal may be limited once provision of digital content has begun; we inform you of this in advance and offer a free trial so you can try Pro first.
- Nothing in this section limits any refund or withdrawal rights you have under the mandatory laws of your country.
7. Ads (Free Version)
- The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. Where required, your consent is requested through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), and you can change your choice in Settings › About › Ad privacy.
- Ads are not shown during the first 24 hours after installation, before your first video, or while a video is being made, played, or shared.
- Your health and route data are never used for ads and are never passed to the ad SDK.
- RunVue Pro removes ads.
- Ads are provided by third parties. We are not responsible for the content of ads or for products and services offered by advertisers.
8. Health and Safety — Not Medical Advice
Important: RunVue is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
- Heart rate, heart-rate zone colors (based on a fixed reference, not your personal maximum), pace, distance, and calories (measured, or an estimate marked with "~") shown in videos are general fitness information for entertainment and personal record-keeping. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
- These values come from Health Connect and the devices or apps that recorded them, and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on them for medical purposes.
- Consult a doctor before starting an exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have not exercised for a while. Stop exercising and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, faintness, or shortness of breath.
- Run safely: RunVue is used after your run, not during it. Obey traffic rules and stay aware of your surroundings when you run.
9. Your Videos and Sharing
- Your content: the videos and images you make with the App are yours to keep and share. We claim no ownership of them, and we do not receive them.
- Privacy when sharing: a video shows your full route from start to finish, street names, date and time, and heart rate. If you started near your home, sharing it can reveal where you live. You decide what to share and with whom; you are responsible for what you share and for respecting the rights of others.
- Map credits must stay: each video shows "© OpenStreetMap" in a corner at the start and "© OpenStreetMap contributors · openstreetmap.org/copyright" in the end credits. These credits are required by the Open Database License (ODbL 1.0) under which the map data is used. Do not remove, crop out, cover, or alter them when you edit, re-upload, or share a video. If you edit a video so that the credits no longer appear, add the same credit nearby (for example, in the post's caption or description).
- Watermark and app content: do not represent RunVue's map styles, watermark, HUD design, or background music as your own work, and do not use them apart from the videos you make.
10. Map Data and Open-Source Licenses
- Map data: © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0 — openstreetmap.org/copyright.
- Boundary and place-name data: Overture Maps Foundation (Overture Divisions, ODbL 1.0).
- The map packs and place-name data, and how they are built, are published at "Map data download (ODbL)" in Settings › About, as the ODbL requires.
- Open-source software and background music used in the App are listed with their licenses in Settings › About › Licenses. Those licenses apply to those components and take precedence over these Terms where they conflict.
11. Your Data
How the App handles your information — including Health Connect data, ads, and purchases — is described in our Privacy Policy (English · 한국어). Because your runs and videos are stored only on your device, we cannot recover them if you delete them, delete the App, or lose your device. Back up videos you want to keep by saving them to your gallery.
12. License and Acceptable Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and to Google Play's terms. You may not:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, or rent the App or its content (including map styles, sound, and music), except as these Terms allow for videos you make;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits it;
- circumvent, disable, or tamper with subscription checks, ads, or other technical restrictions in the App;
- overload or scrape our map storage, or access it other than through the App (the published map data download is the exception);
- use the App in any unlawful way, or to make videos that infringe others' rights or reveal another person's location without their consent.
All rights not expressly granted remain with the developer. If you breach these Terms, your license ends automatically.
13. Third-Party Services
The App works with services provided by third parties, whose own terms and privacy policies apply:
- Google Play — purchases, billing, renewals, refunds, and subscription management
- Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform — ads and consent for free users
- Health Connect — the workout data you choose to let the App read
- Cloudflare — hosting of our static map storage
- Tally — our contact form
These Terms are between you and the developer only. Google is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
14. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, that map data will be complete or accurate, or that videos will be produced on every device.
- To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; for loss of runs or videos stored on your device; for consequences of videos you choose to share; or for injury or loss arising from your exercise or your reliance on values shown in the App.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law — for example, liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence under Korean law — or affects your statutory rights as a consumer in your country.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may change these Terms. When we do, we will update the Effective Date above and let you know in the App or in the Google Play listing. We will give notice at least 7 days before a change takes effect, or at least 30 days before for changes that are adverse to you (for example, changes that reduce what a paid subscription includes). If you do not agree to the changes, stop using the App and cancel your subscription before they take effect.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute will be brought before the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea. If you are a consumer, you also keep any protection given to you by the mandatory laws of the country where you live, including the right to bring proceedings in the courts there where that law allows.
